How to look up your class schedule?

How to check your Financial Aid Status?
- Visit www.escc.edu
- Select MyESCC in the top left corner of the page
- Select Student and log in to MyESCC
- Select Financial Aid
- Select Financial Aid Status
- Select on “Unsatisfied Student requirements”
- Select on “awarded” to see financial aid awards
When will I be able to visit campus?
All students registered for a class will receive instructions from their instructor on what day to attend class. Feel free to come to campus for special services which include: internet access, tutoring, computer labs, bookstore, or financial assistance.
- If you are showing symptoms of Covid-19, DO NOT come to campus. Stay at home and notify the Chief of Campus Police at (334) 406-0504. You can also fill out the COVID-19 Referral Form (https://esccf.formstack.com/forms/covid19_referral_form) if you are showing symptoms or notice someone else with symptoms.
- ESCC and AAC use the free CampusClear app, which assists in the self-screening process for students and faculty. Everyone at ESCC and the Alabama Aviation College are encouraged to use CampusClear to report Covid-19 symptoms. At 7 a.m. each morning, a push notification is sent as a reminder to complete a self-assessment. Once the assessment is complete, the app will determine if an individual is cleared to enter the campus or not. Download the app in the Apple Store or Google Play and sign up using your escc.edu email.
- While on campus, remember that a mask is encouraged to be worn in classrooms and all common areas. Additionally, please maintain social distancing guidelines while around others, and remember to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer throughout the day.
If there is a positive case, only those who are close to the case will be notified. A general announcement will also be posted to the ESCC website at https://www.escc.edu/coronavirus/. In all notifications, identities will be kept confidential.
How do I login to CANVAS?
You will gain access to your courses on the first day! If you do not have access to your course on the first day it is very important that you send an email to Dr. Mosley at email@example.com or to the IT Helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m in an online course, now what?
Have classes started yet? If so, you need to get started. Access Canvas using Google Chrome at https://escc.instructure.com/login. Use the example below to retrieve your login information. Your user name will be your student email address. Your student email is the first letter of your first name, your full last name, and your four-digit birth month and day. Your password will be your 8-digit birth date.

All students will be required to complete a COVID waiver before returning to campus
Students will be required to visit https://esccf.formstack.com/forms/covid_waiver and digitally sign a COVID-19 waiver form before returning to campus. This must be done even if you have completed a waiver in the previous semester.
Prior to arrival to campus, we request all students to perform a self assessment.

- Do you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher?
- Do you have a cough
- Are you experiencing shortness of breath?
- Are you having difficulty breathing?
- Are you experiencing unusual fatigue?
- Are you experiencing nausea or vomiting?
- Have you recently lost taste or smell?
- Are you experiencing chills or repeated shaking with chills?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, we expect you to remain at home and complete the COVID-19 referral form located under the corona virus page at https://www.escc.edu/coronavirus/ or the direct link is https://esccf.formstack.com/forms/covid19_referral_form
Are masks required while on campus?
While on any Enterprise or Ozark campuses masks are encouraged to be worn. If you do not have a mask, contact the campus police and we will provide you with a mask IF MASKS ARE AVAILABLE.
Additionally, while on any ESCC campus, please practice social distancing by maintaining a 6-foot radius of others. Also please frequently wash hands for twenty seconds or use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer stations are located at each building entry points.
How do I purchase my books?
The bookstore will be full service. Options to purchase are as follows:
- Come inside the bookstore to purchase and pick up (following social distancing guidelines)
- Purchase online at escc.edu/bookstore and pick up in the bookstore (you must create an account once you go to the website)
- Purchase online at escc.edu/bookstore and have books shipped (you must create an account once you go to the website)
How do I visit Boll Weevil Central (Advising, Tutoring, Library Services)?
Boll Weevil Central Advising will be open by appointment only for advisement regarding classes and dropping/adding courses, as well as testing services.
Students can request an appointment for placement testing or advisement/changing class schedule by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The student must have an appointment and a photo ID to take placement testing in the SAS Lab located in Snuggs Hall.
Students who wish to seek ADA accommodations can email the ADA Coordinator at email@example.com to meet by appointment only to discuss what ESCC can provide for accommodations. Please bring a doctor’s documentation to support the ADA needs you have.
Boll Weevil Central Library
We will have several desktop computers for student use. In addition, students can access ESCC’s EBook collection by going to https://www.escc.edu/about-escc/library/.
The Books section is under Resources. Click on Search the ESCC Online Database, which is in light green. In the search box, type the author, title, or subject of the book you are looking for, and click Search. EBooks are indicated as electronic resources within the title of the books. The call number will also contain EB, and the location of the book will be MAIN in NETLIBRARY. To view an EBook, click on the title of the Book. A URL will appear at the bottom of the record under Item Info: To access the EBook. If you are prompted to provide a USER ID and Password, they are as follows: USER ID: eozark PASSWORD: Weevils20!

Boll Weevil Central Tutoring offers tutoring both in-person and online for a variety of courses.
To receive in-person tutoring, students can simply come to Boll Weevil Central on the Enterprise campus. In-person tutoring hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
To access Boll Weevil Central Tutoring in Canvas, students can either check their campus email and accept the invitation to BWC Tutoring in Canvas, or they can log into their MyESCC Student Portal and click on Request Tutoring, which will take them directly to the BWC Tutoring Canvas Homepage. If you have questions or need assistance accessing BWC Tutoring in Canvas, please contact Mrs. DaNean Pound at email@example.com or at (334) 347-2623, extension 2308.
What if I need a laptop for my studies?
If a student needs a computer to complete their assignments for their courses (in-person/online/hybrid), ESCC has laptops available to be checked out. These laptops are to only be used for school-related purposes, and students will be held personally responsible for any actions or compromised information resulting from the loss, theft, or misuse of the College-owned laptops. As there are a limited number of laptop computers available from Boll Weevil Central each semester, the students must do the following:
- The student in need must complete a laptop request form at https://esccf.formstack.com/forms/laptop_request.
- Sign and abide by the ESCC Laptop Loan Program Agreement and Information Technology Policies on Computer Use and Internet Access forms.
Laptops will be inspected each semester during the final examination week and must be returned immediately following the end of the semester.
How do I get a parking permit?
Complete the registration form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTmVyL5sh98irHAcqXpMurA0OZ-12oF3y_09y4Doms1yl1DA/viewform. Your parking permit can then be picked up from Campus Police.

HOW DO I FIND MY ADVISOR AND WHAT IS AN ACADEMIC ADVISOR?
See the steps here for understanding the advising process. Academic Advisors assist you with selecting the classes each semester so that you do not waste time and money. You can find your assigned academic advisor by logging in to the student portal, at https://www.escc.edu/myescc/ If you log in and do not see an assigned advisor, you can do two things: Email firstname.lastname@example.org or request someone to contact you using the Advisor Request Form.
WHEN IS THE ADVISING AND REGISTRATION PERIOD AND HOW DO I PREPARE?
See registration dates, schedule of classes, and the process to register. To register for classes, you must be first be cleared to enroll by your assigned faculty or staff advisor. If you do not have a faculty or staff advisor, your student success advisor can clear you to enroll. Once cleared, you can log in to the student portal, at https://www.escc.edu/myescc/ Please contact your advisor for more assistance.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR COURSES? WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY SCHEDULE?
All add/drop deadlines are listed on the academic calendar. In the first week of classes, students can add/drop courses on their MyESCC through their “Registration” or “Drop/Add classes” option. In the first week of classes, there is a restricted add/drop period if you want the money back. After that date, students can still drop but not add classes outside of the registration period. No student is permitted to add or drop a course after the deadline unless certain circumstances permit an exception. A student may withdraw from a course after the add/drop deadline (please refer to the academic calendar for specific dates). The course will show on the student’s transcript with a “W”.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DROPPING AND WITHDRAWING FROM A COURSE?
Students can drop a course within the first two weeks of the semester. The course is removed from their schedule and does not show up on their transcript. After the add/drop period, a student may withdraw from a course until the withdrawal deadline (please refer to the academic calendar for specific dates). The course will show up on your transcript with a “W”.
HOW MANY CREDITS DO FULL-TIME STUDENTS NEED TO TAKE EACH SEMESTER?
Full-time students may register for 12-18 credits during the semester. While students can register for 12 credits, students planning to graduate in two years should take more than 12 in most programs each semester. Students wishing to register for more than 18 credits must obtain approval for the overload from the Dean of Instruction.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PROGRAM OF STUDY?
WHAT IS PRIORITY REGISTRATION?
For a student that has completed 30+ hours at the time of registration, they are considered priority students eligible to register earlier. See the dates for priority registration at escc.edu.
CAN I REPEAT A COURSE?
Yes, you can repeat a class or classes for a better grade, however, only the last enrollment and grade will be used in computing the cumulative grade point average, regardless of whether it was an improvement. Courses must be repeated at ESCC for the grade to be replaced in GPA calculation.
WHAT ARE MY DEGREE REQUIREMENTS?
Students can view their degree requirements in their MyESCC.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY COLLEGE CLASSES WILL TRANSFER?
Please consult the Alabama STARS Guide Agreement for the university you plan to transfer to. This agreement is only for schools within the State of Alabama. For questions about transferring to a school in another state, please visit that university’s website and look over their requirements.
