ESCC NAMES FRITH DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND MEDIA RELATIONS
JANUARY 9, 2012, Enterprise, AL – Enterprise State Community College is pleased to announce the addition of Deidre Peluso Frith as Director of Marketing and Media Relations.
“I am pleased with the skills, background, and expertise Ms. Frith brings to the College. The opportunities her experience affords the College is exciting to us all," said Dr. Nancy W. Chandler, President of ESCC.
The Director of Marketing and Media Relations is a new position and is responsible for rebranding and marketing ESCC and the Alabama Aviation Center around the State. She is also the direct contact for all media inquiries.
“To join an establishment that ranked in the top 10% of community colleges in the Nation last year is truly an honor,” said Frith. “I look forward to establishing a fresh identity and promoting the already amazing educational opportunities that are available across the State of Alabama.”
Frith served as Director of Community Relations at the Wiregrass Museum of Art in Dothan, AL for the last five years. During that time, she rebranded the museum through new websites, creating a monthly e-newsletter system, establishing social media outlets, producing commercials and a documentary, In Celebration of the Arts, which is archived in the Troy University Archives of Wiregrass History.
Frith received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Graphic Design from the University of Alabama. She is an award winning graphic designer and a published freelance writer for wiregrass area publications including The Dothan Magazine. Frith is a graduate of Leadership Dothan and was a guest speaker at the Alabama Museum Associations annual conference on the topic of current marketing trends. Frith also served on the board of directors for The Downtown Group and the Dothan Area Young Professionals.
ESCC ranked in the top 120 Community Colleges in the Nation named by the ASPEN institute in 2010/2011. ESCC includes the Alabama Aviation Center and has seven locations including campuses located in Enterprise, Ozark and Mobile and sites in Ft. Rucker, Albertville, Decatur and Andalusia.
