The Information Technology Department offers an array of services for those using Blackboard Learn to mount or enhance their on-line courses.

The Blackboard Learning System is a virtual learning environment and course management system developed by Blackboard Inc. It is used at Enterprise State Community College to provide added online elements to courses traditionally delivered face-to-face and to develop completely online courses with few or no face-to-face meetings.

Some of the more common features include course content area, calendar, virtual classroom,discussions, glossary, private mail, grade center, learning modules, online quizzes, etc.
